EdgeX Foundry is a vendor-neutral open source project hosted by The Linux Foundation building a common open framework for IoT edge computing. At the heart of the project is an interoperability framework hosted within a full hardware- and OS-agnostic reference software platform to enable an ecosystem of plug-and-play components that unifies the marketplace and accelerates the deployment of IoT solutions.
The Linux Foundation is dedicated to building sustainable ecosystems around open source projects to accelerate technology development and industry adoption. Founded in 2000, The Linux Foundation provides unparalleled support for open source communities through financial and intellectual resources, infrastructure, services, events, and training. Working together, The Linux Foundation and its projects form the most ambitious and successful investment in the creation of shared technology.
Linux Foundation Networking (LFN) brings together seven top networking projects to increase harmonization across platforms, communities, and ecosystems. The LFN projects address major industry challenges and through collaboration between end users, vendors, and developers, are transforming all aspects of the network and accelerating open source deployments. We are fostering collaboration and innovation across the entire open networking stack — from the data plane into the control plane, to orchestration, automation, end-to-end testing, and more.
OneLedger is a new generation of cross-chain protocol that provides an efficient cross-chain engine. It helps individuals and businesses achieve cross-chain transactions through sidechains. At the same time, OneLedger also provides SDK development tools for enterprise developers. It can be used to build business modules that serve multiple business purposes. All interactions with the public and private chains occur on the sidechain, which greatly increases the efficiency and security of the cross-chain interactions.
Rivetz Trusted Execution Environment (“TEE”) should be thought of as a private “vault” inside your device’s hardware – but instead of software (like apps and iOS/Android), it’s already built into your device (the hardware). Inside of this vault, everything is isolated which makes it an ideal location to store private keys needed for blockchain transactions. Furthermore, the Rivetz app will take a snapshot of your device’s health and store it on their distributed network. The Rivetz app will verify the user’s device identity and health status by comparing the device’s current health snapshot to the one they have on file. Rivetz has an infrastructure that will record the details of all riveted transactions. Each transaction will have proof that the device that authorized the transaction was in compliance with the requirements set by the user.
At Vault, we are building a fast, secure and easy-to-use mobile wallet to manage all of your crypto-assets. Our mission is to provide a secure, frictionless experience. Our wallet will cater to everyone from the average Joe who wants to spend some bitcoin on a coffee at Starbucks to enterprises that are building services on a distributed platform. One wallet, one great experience.
